Rules
To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all anglers, we ask that the following lake rules are followed at all times. These guidelines are in place to protect both our visitors and the welfare of the fish.
- All anglers must be pre booked and have paid for their ticket in advance
- Maximum 2 rods per angler
- A current EA licence must be held by all anglers. For more information, see www.gov.uk/fishing-licences/when-you-need-a-licence
- Barbless or Micro Barb hooks only to be used
- No fish are to be retained in nets or sacks
- The use of unhooking mats is required for all fish caught
- No rods are to be left unattended at any time
- There are no bait restrictions but we do ask that all particle bait is well prepared and used in moderation
- The removal, killing or transfer of any fish will mean instant and lifelong ban and a claim by the owners for full compensation
- All rubbish must be collected and disposed of in a proper manner
- All anglers must adhere to the out of bounds notices
- No radios, guns, or fires are allowed on site
- No dogs are permitted at the lake under any circumstances
- All barbecues must be raised from the ground to prevent fire spreading
- Swimming is strictly forbidden at any time. In the case of accidents there are life buoys available at several points along the bank
- Bait boats can be used as long as they do not interfere with other anglers and that lines are not dropped in places that can lead to fish becoming tethered. We do have a number of bait boats available for hire. Contact us for more information
- All children’s under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times
- No loud music, excessive drinking or any other antisocial activity will be tolerated and if reports of such activity is reported this will mean an immediate lifelong ban
- Neither the company nor its employees shall be held responsible for loss or damage to or theft of any property however caused.
- Anglers are not entitled to make any claims against the company or employees in respect of any losses, injury or theft
- We reserve the right to cancel any booking
- We reserve the right to alter these terms at any time without prior notice
